Clearing Business Relationships

hooponopono

According to the Hawaiian  practice of forgiveness called Ho’oponopono:

“It is important to clear Karmic patterns with your clients before you start working with them, so that you don’t activate old stuff between you. Perhaps you shouldn’t be working with that person at all. Only the Divinity knows. If you work with a person and it isn’t your business, you can take on the person’s entire problem and everything associated with it. This can cause burnout. The Ho’oponopono gives the tools to prevent that from happening.”

This made me think about business relationships.  What if you did a Ho’oponopono clearing with each customer and Distributor before you began a relationship with them?  It would especially be good for new Distributors because these relationships can last a long time.

Have you ever signed up a new business partner and they a) disappeared right away, b) they stopped taking your calls, c) you worked with them for month before a conflict came up and the quit the business,  d) they had a conflict with you that came from no where, e) they just up and quit the business?

Imagine if you could clear the karma before you started working with them so none of this happened. You would have less drama in you business and more success!

You want to come into a business relationship with a clean slate so you don’t activate old karma. You want to clear the slate so their issue and your own issues don’t get projected and become business issue that ruin your working relationship.

Imagine the success you would have if you entered into business relationships with a clean slate!

It’s never too late to go back and clear relationships with people who are already in your business.

HOW TO DO HO’OPONOPONO

Freedom from Karma

In 1976 Morrnah Simeona, regarded as a healing priest or kahuna lapaʻau, adapted the traditional hoʻoponopono of family mutual forgiveness to the social realities of the modern day. For this she extended it both to a general problem solving process outside the family and to a psycho-spiritual self-help rather than group process

State of Zero

After Simeona’s passing in 1992, her former student and administrator Ihaleakala Hew Len, co-authored a book with Joe Vitale called Zero Limits adapting Simeona’s hoʻoponopono teachings. Taking her teaching to the next level, the book brings the new idea that the main objective of hoʻoponopono is getting to “the state of Zero, where we would have zero limits. No memories. No identity.”  To reach this state, which Len called ‘Self-I-Dentity’, one has to repeat constantly, according to Joe Vitale’s interpretation, the mantra, “I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.”  It is based on Len’s idea of 100% responsibility, taking responsibility for everyone’s actions (once again according to Joe Vitale’s interpretation), not only for one’s own. If one would take complete responsibility for one’s life, then everything one sees, hears, tastes, touches, or in any way experiences would be one’s responsibility because it is in one’s life. The problem would not be with our external reality, it would be with ourselves. To change our reality, we would have to change ourselves. Total Responsibility, according to Hew Len, advocates that everything exists as a projection from inside the human being.  This practice views all consciousness as part of the whole, so any error that a person clears in their own consciousness should be cleared for everyone.

You can also clear karma as it comes up rather than constantly repeating the mantra through out the day.  As suggested in this post you can clear karma with someone before beginning a relationship with them.

If you are in a relationship already you can still clear the karma anytime.  Imagine going back to each relationship that is part of your business and doing the meditation for each person.  You can use the second meditation video to do that and spend 4 minutes on the people you feel compelled to do a clearing with.

Change your thoughts, Transform your business

In the 5 or so years that I have been involved in  network marketing I have transformed.  When you are doing your own business your issues are reflected back to you through the challenges you experience in your business.  I was involved with 4 other network marketing companies before I found It Works! Marketing.  The two years that I have been with It Works Marketing have been the most transformational because I have a commitment to this business and becoming financially free.

The two techniques I use to empower myself and my business are The Law of Attraction and Ho’oponopono.  Ho’oponopono is like having a magic wand at your disposal, because if you use it you can remove blocks and obstacles like magic.  I have used Ho’oponopono for about a year and a half, ever since I read Zero Limits, by Joe Vitale.   It is the Hawaiian forgiveness technique for clearing yourself and I am using it to clear things in myself that are reflected back to me in my business.  In ho’oponopono you take 100% responsibility for whatever happens in your outer world. Rather than placing blame for what is happening in my business on my down-line, or the economy, for example, I look within, to see where I might have to clear my own thinking.

Being 100% responsible doesn’t mean you take on guilt about what is not going right. It’s a reminder of your creative powers and gentle welcome to return back to your inner nature, which is back to Zero point, which Joe Vitale talks about in his book.   When you return to your most inner nature, or Zero, everything becomes available to you effortlessly and you are being driven by inspiration from Divinity, not by petty ego wants. It is human nature to get caught up in the wants of the ego and we all do it. Ho’oponopono helps us detach from the wants and desires and brings us to the place of all possibility where everything  we desire can and does manifest.  We can’t manifest a successful business when we are aligned with “why isn’t my business successful?”

The Zero of Ho’oponopono is the same thing that Eckhart Tolle names Unmanifested.  By cleaning your subconscious, you open yourself up to inspiration by God,the Divine, Source energy or whatever you like to call it. I feel that ho’oponopono takes the law of attraction to the next level and if you use it  your life will change because it cleans up what we have stored in our memory from the past.

When you catch yourself in memory your first task is to ask your subconscious what it is inside of you that has caused this reaction, response, feeling  or whatever the issue is…you fill in the blank.  It isn’t necessary to know exactly what it is, just that there is something in you that is blocking your success and it is being reflected in your outer world.

The foundational elements of the practice of Self I-dentity through Ho’oponopono are the four phrases:

* I love You
* I’m Sorry
* Please Forgive Me
* Thank You

I identify the issue in my business, such as “why aren’t my distributors stepping up to the plate this month?  Instead of blaming them I look at where I am not stepping up to the plate or what is it in me that is causing this.  I assume that the lack of movement is coming from me and is reflected in my business. By using Ho’oponopono I can clean, clear and erase the thoughts, unconscious beliefs inside myself that are causing lack of movement in my business.  I don’t even have to know what they are, all I have to do is clean. If an actual memory surfaces that is addressed. I thank it for its presence and for its opinion. By repeating the phrases or anyone of them, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.”  the memories are released.

Every time you repeat a phrase you are cleaning and letting go of a memory. This in turn releases it for God/Source/The Divine to erase from the world. It is important to let go completely and not to have any expectations for the outcome. It is important to remember that you are responsible for everything in your life. Every problem you encounter is an opportunity to clean. If someone comes to you with a problem, you need to clean it, because it is now within the reflection of your reality so you have a part in it. If you have a problem, you need to clean on it.

I have been using this technique with great success in my business for months.  Recently I had  been doing ho’oponopono to clear out what was in me that was keeping me from bringing in new distributors that month.  I cleared out self-doubt and I cleared out feelings that I don’t deserve wealth or success.  With in a few hours of doing ho’oponopono I signed up 3 new distributors who I didn’t even have to seek out because they called me!   I was doing the happy dance because closer to a major promotion in the company. I continued to clear and  the following day I got calls from two more people interested in the business opportunity.  Now I was soaring.

I remember a momentary feeling of fear come up.  It felt like fear of success.  I noted but didn’t address.

Enter the saboteur…

I  was awakened in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.  I never turn on lights because I have gone up and down the stairs to my bedroom thousands of times. This time I missed the last step  and went sailing.  My head slammed into one wall and my foot jammed into the door on the other side in the narrow stairway. I saw the proverbial stars and all the color drained out of my face.  I broke my toe and got whip-lash.  This followed several of the happiest days I have had in a long time.

In ho’oponopono they suggest that it is best to clear as soon as something comes up, which I didn’t do when the fear of success came up.  Esther Hicks, who teaches about the Law of Attraction, always says, “Don’t worry, it will get bigger.”  Well my fear indeed got bigger as I was slamming my head into the wall and breaking my toe.  I also realized that this was my saboteur trying to get in the way of my success.  I started clearing around that issue and I shifted back to soaring even though I have a broken toe and a wipe-lash injury.  My injury doesn’t have to get in the way of my success and stop me from promoting.  As I continue to build my business I will just keep clearing and cleaning, with the magic wand of ho’oponopono and watch the magic unfold.
