Top 10 Ways to Pick The Best Network Marketing Opportunity

image_045ef39f7cfca99509b955f076f91794

Here are ten tips to help you pick the right network marketing opportunity for you.

1. Has the company been around for at least 5 years?

If you want the efforts you put in today to pay off for many years in the future, choose a company that has proven that it will be around for the long term.  Did you know that 90% of all network marketing companies FAIL within the first 2 years.  You will hear many people talking about how their opportunity is ground floor and how if you get in with the first people you will make a lot of money.  If the company is less than 5 years old it is a risk to get involved.  If you can afford to take that risk, go for it.  If you family depends on the money you would be spending your time better by looking for a Home Based Business Opportunity with a strong foundation. You don’t want to invest your precious time and resources (not to mention your future) in something that may not be in business next month, do you?

2. Is the company debt free?

Why is this important?  Most companies fail because they don’t have the cash to grow the company, maintain a solid infrastructure, invest in changing technology and put money back into the field through commissions and bonuses.

If a company is debt free they will be around for a long time.  The best Multi-level Marketing Opportunities will be with companies that are debt free.

3. Does the company offer products or services that are unique?

Does the Network Marketing Opportunity you are looking at have a unique product that can’t be duplicated?  If they only have products that have a lot of competition such as healthy juice, vitamins, skin care, jewelry it is going to be harder for you to sell and make good money.  You will be up against people who want you to defend your product against another product on the market.

4. Is there a genuine need for the product or service?

You’ve probably heard horror stories about people ending up with a garage full of expensive water filters, cases and cases of juice, boxes of makeup and piles of pills and the reason is only other distributors will purchase the product at that price, because there are so many options to choose from and many might be lest expensive.  It is human nature to want to buy at the best possible price.  You can have great products but the competition can kill your potential for making money and you will be left with a lot of product.  If you have a product that has a need and can’t be found any where else people will pay your asking price and you won’t be able to keep them in stock.

5. Is the product or service trendy or a fad?

If the company you are looking at is selling something that is current right now but may not be current forever, you can’t build long term residual income  if the product or service only has short term appeal.  When looking for an opportunity think in terms of longevity.   Is the product or service something that your customers will continue to use for a long time? If the company sells one time purchase items that is also not a good Multi-level Marketing opportunity if you are looking for residual income.

6. Can you generate immediate income?

So that you can finance your marketing and expansion efforts from cash flow.  Are there bonus’ build into the compensation plan up front where you make money immediately.  If you have to wait until you get to a certain level to get paid, pass that opportunity up.

7. Does the marketing system take full advantage of technology?

Does the company have an internet presence and a brand that is recognized?  Can anyone plug into the system and understand how it works.  is there training available on line?  Can people go to your website and purchase?  Is there a back office tracking system for your team?

8. Is the person who is introducing you to the opportunity committed to YOUR success?

If they are, the company is strong, and the product or service is a winner,  you WILL succeed. There’s a big difference between a “sponsor” and a “recruiter.” A sponsor coaches. motivates and trains and a recruiter just signs people up and in most cases, abandons them.  You have to be willing to learn, stay connected with your sponsor and stay plugged into the company.

9. Is there a way to build your business part-time without losing your full time income?

The company must have automated systems that can do the heavy lifting  for you so that you can use your limited time efficiently.  Is shipping automated and sent directly to the customer?  If you have to deliver products that is a time consideration.

10. Will you have FUN?

By all means look for a company that has a lot of fun.  Study the culture of the company which is easy with social media. Do people look like they are having fun?  Does the team do things together.  There are people you will be working long term with and it needs to be fun!

These are  —ten criteria for selecting a superior network marketing opportunity that will help you pin down the right opportunity for you. Of course, even with a great company, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. You WILL have to work! But, with the right opportunity, it won’t have to be forever!

I know what it is like to Struggle!

9146.bob-dylan

I know what it is like to be broke and struggling.  I know what it is like to thrive.  I choose to Thrive, be abundant and prosperous.  We do have a choice.

One of my passions is to see people get out from under debt.  I am serious about it!   It is part of my philanthropy!

I know how stressful it is because for the 14 years I raised my kids as a single parent, we struggled to make ends meet. I had to use credit cards at the end of the month because we ran out of money, racking up a huge debt that followed me long after they left home.

My adult children still remember powdered milk and government cheese from the food shelf.

I know what it feels like to have to work 3 jobs to support us. I often woke up in the middle of the night in shear terror. I often felt like a terrible mom because there was very little mom left at the end of the day.

I know what it feels like to be broke! To buy second hand clothes from garage sales and wear the same shoes until they fell apart. I know what it’s like to feel shame for not being able to adequately support my kids.

I know what it feels like to get fired from a job, right before Christmas and have to go ask for food stamps. My kids know what it’s like to get very little for Christmas. I was fired, by the way, because I wouldn’t put up with my boss sexually harassing me.

I know what it feels like to have a quarter to my name and $2000 worth of bills and not knowing how to pay them. I know what it’s like to dig through all my jacket pockets for change so I could buy fast food because that’s all you can buy with pocket change.

I know what it feels like to have dreams that I never thought I could fulfill because I couldn’t afford them.

I know what it feels like because I have been there and wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone. I hated my life. There were times when I didn’t want to be alive. It was SO hard to face another day!

That is why I am passionate about helping other people get out of debt so they can start living! I feel blessed to have found a company, It Works, whose mission is to help as many people as possible become debt free. I watch them do this everyday, helping people who were in the same position I was and maybe you are.

If you have had enough struggle. If you have dreams you can’t afford to fulfill. If you are ready to change your life and be happy, let me share the vehicle I have discovered to transform my life and my financial landscape.

I am on a mission to teach people how to change their financial future, because we all deserve to live in peace and harmony and not to struggle.

Bob Dylan nailed it!!!

The Measure of Success

water-wallpaper-hd-free-133

How do we measure the level of our success?

As an author, artist and entrepreneur it is easy to start measuring my success against the success of others in my field.  Is my success measured by how many books I have sold compared to other people, how many paintings I have sold and for how much?  How far I have climbed on the ladder in my network marketing company.  It is easy to think it is.  It is also easy to get down on yourself if you don’t meet some arbitrary standard.

But is that the true measure of success?

For the author, artist, musician what if success was measured by how you felt in the creation process and how it impacted you to become something different?  Would it matter if you only sold one book, one painting or one song if that piece of art changed someone’s life? Is that success?

For the entrepreneur does it matter how many widgets you sold and how much money you made, is that  the measure of success? Is success based on getting a certain title?  Or is success based on the fact that what you sold was experienced as positive and helpful to those who bought the widget, no matter how much you made in the process.  Success in this instance could be the fact that you transformed yourself in the process of selling those widgets.

What if success was solely measured by the fact that you had the guts to express yourself and let other people see it, or just in the fact that it changed you in some way?  Success never takes into account the circumstances out of which something was created and how much courage it took to make steps forward.  All of the steps should count as success, don’t you think?

Those are not the questions people ask when assessing if something was successful or not.

The meaning of success has gotten away from us, has gotten impersonal and is measured by standards that have nothing to do with success at all.  We lose sight of our accomplishments because they don’t live up to some high, unattainable standard that we and society set for them.

Maybe it is the word Success that is creating the problem.

suc·cess
səkˈses/
noun
  1. the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.
“the president had some success in restoring confidence”
    synonyms: favorable outcome, successfulness, successful result, triumph;

    “the success of the scheme”
    • the attainment of popularity or profit.
      “the success of his play”
synonyms: prosperity, affluence, wealth, riches, opulence

      “the trappings of success”
    • a person or thing that achieves desired aims or attains prosperity.
“I must make a success of my business”
      synonyms: triumph, bestseller, blockbuster, sellout;

      informal(smash) hit, megahit,winner

No pressure there!  As you can see by the very definition “success” comes with a pressure to be, do or become something lofty.

The successes that I accomplished this year an not exactly the ones I set out to achieve.  Sometimes our lofty plans are derailed and it is for our highest and best that they were, even if we can’t see the reason right away. According to my spiritual blueprint they were the ones I was meant to achieve.

I have achieved some amazing things this year, some of them came out of the fact that my original plan got derailed early in the year.  I wrote a book and published it and that wouldn’t have happened if I had stuck with my plan. I went to Bali for a month to learn an new painting technique, I am working on a children’s book and achieve a level of success in my network marketing business but what is bigger in the scheme of things is I transformed myself.  I released old programs that were getting in my way of success, I learned completely new ways of looking at myself and my world, I spent quality time with myself, my kids and my grandson,  made many new friends and I got a new cat!  I have expressed myself and become more authentic.

Did I complete with perfection the list I created at the beginning of the year, no!

      Does it matter? No!

      Was I successful? Yes!

I am a success because I feel more complete, more serene, more grateful, more compassionate and more loving and accepting of myself.

I think it is time we create a new definition for success. One that is kinder, gentler and realistic.

I am curious, how do you define success?
